  • 1/2 C espresso powder
  • 1 t fresh thyme; minced
  • 1 t ground cardamom

  • 1/2 t ground coriander seed
  • 1 T turbinado sugar
  • 1/2 C honey
  • 1/4 t onion powder
  • 1/4 t garlic powder
  • 2 t brown sugar
  • evoo; as needed

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Espresso Crusted Chicken in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Toss chicken with enough oil to coat. Season with everything except honey and turbindao sugar. Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes or until thermometer reaches 165°.
  • Step 2
  • Pour honey atop chicken and sprinkle turbinado sugar during last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Step 3
  • Variations; Ground coffee beans, applewood seasoning, bacon fat, crushed nut topping, mustard, ground jalapeño powder, cayenne, mole, cumin, herbes de provence, lavender
  • Step 4
  • Optional: Serve with almond pesto
