  • 1 juice from one lime
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp Mexican oregano
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

How to Make Fajita Chicken Kabobs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Fajita Chicken Kabobs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut your chicken into pieces big enough to skewer. Do the same with your veggies. Leave the mushrooms whole. Now thread them onto skewers, alternating them.
  • Step 2
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients for your marinade. Pour over your skewers of chicken and veggies in a pan big enough to lay the skewers flat. Cover and marinade overnight in the refrigerator, occasionally turning.
  • Step 3
  • Heat your grill medium hot. Grill the kabobs, turning frequently and brushing the leftover marinade over them. Cook until chicken is cooked through. Serve on a rice pilaf or in warm tortillas.
