  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 packages top sirloin
  • 1 large onion
  • 6 Sweet mini peppers
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chili powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • dash olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 packages shredded sharp cheddar

How to Make Fajita Chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Fajita Chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • First take your top sirloin and cube it.
  • Step 2
  • Toss the top sirloin into a very hot pot to sear off the meat.
  • Step 3
  • First reduce heat to medium after your meat is seared.Now take your sweet mini peppers and julienne them. Next dice your onion. Mince some garlic cloves too.
  • Step 4
  • Toss the sliced veggies and minced garlic onto the top sirloin. Stir.
  • Step 5
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes
  • Step 6
  • Now pour in the tomato sauce.stir.
  • Step 7
  • Now we have our spice mixture. Pour in the chili powder first. Stir. Add in the garlic powder, cumin, ground black pepper , smoked paprika, salt, red pepper flakes and stir.
  • Step 8
  • I let it simmer for 1-2 hours until meat is very tender and vegetables are soft. Top with a generous amount of cheddar cheese and serve.
