Ingredients: Farmers Breakfast

  • 1/4 lb Bacon (or 1/2 lb if you would like a little more)
  • 1 lb hash browns
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Farmers Breakfast

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Farmers Breakfast in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In large skillet, fry bacon. Then add hashbrowns, onion powder, & parsley. Stir & cook for 5 minutes. Can add a little olive oil (up to 2 tbsp) if things start to stick. If you decide to use things like turkey bacon, you will need olive oil & maybe up to 4 tbsp, since other bacons, besides pork, do not produce as much grease.
  • Step 2
  • Stir in eggs, salt, & pepper. Evenly spread in pan. Top with cheese. Cover & cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Loosen gently with spatula, cut into wedges & serve up.
