  • 120 grams Fava beans or edamame (boiled, de-skinned)
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt

    Step 1
  • Remove the skins from the fava beans and boil in boiling salt water (salt not listed) for 4-5 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Once they've boiled, remove the thin skin layer, and either strain or mash with a fork. It's a bit difficult, but give it your all.
  • Step 3
  • Add Step 2 to a small pot. Add the sugar and heat. Evaporate the moisture, but cook to your desired stiffness. Add the salt mid-way.

  • This is also delicious made from edamame.
