  • 2 Tins chick peas in water, drained
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Plain flour
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 Lemon juice and zest
  • 50 grams Feta cheese
  • 1/2 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin seed
  • 1 tsp Coriander seed
  • 1 tsp Heaped of turmeric
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 pinch Chilli pepper
  • 1 dash Evoo
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley

How to Make Feta Cheese Felafel

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Feta Cheese Felafel in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add the cumin and coriander seed with the onion to a shallow non stick frying pan, toast for 2 minutes and transfer to a food processor.
  • Step 2
  • Drain the chick peas and add to the food processor. Add all other ingredients except the olive oil and blend to a rough paste.
  • Step 3
  • Heat the oil in the pan, form the paste into patties and roll them in flour so they will be easier to handle and not too sticky in the pan.
  • Step 4
  • Fry lightly for 5 minutes on each side. Serve with pitta bread, salad and a mint yoghurt sauce, or however you like!
