Ingredients: Flan

  • 10 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 can condense milk
  • 1/2 can evaporated milk
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar

How to Make Flan

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Flan in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine the egg yolks, evap milk, and condense milk. Lightly mix it together using a fork. Do not beat and remain from creating bubbles. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Using a lanera (or any baking pan oval shape or whatever shape ypu prefer) put in the brown sugar. Melt the sugar on top of the heat until brown/blackish color comes out. Do not burn.
  • Step 3
  • When done. Pour the egg yolk mixture to the lanera. In a preheated oven. Bake the flan using a water bath method. (place the lanera on a oven pan with 1inch water on it). Bake for 30min
  • Step 4
  • Do not overbake as the eggs will get hard. Keep in checking them in the oven. Transfer to plate when done.
