How to Make Flora's Tadaaa Manicotti

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Flora's Tadaaa Manicotti in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown your hamburger and sausage together in a skillet, breaking apart as it browns and incorporating well. (drain any grease it produces) Add the spaghetti sauce and let it get warm.
  • Step 2
  • Cook your manicotti noodles in gently simmering water. You want to cook these gently so they don't break apart. I cook until they are "almost" done so they hold up better. You can cook a few extra to make sure you have enough. When done cooking drain them and place them back in the plastic container they come with...it helps hold there shape until your ready for them.
  • Step 3
  • In a bowl combine your parm cheese, cottage cheese and egg.
  • Step 4
  • Add your cheese mixture from step 2 into a ziplock baggie and snip the corner off.
  • Step 5
  • Pipe the cheese filling into the manicotti noodles. (I pipe from both sides so it fills up better) Don't overfill! It will blow your noodles open.
  • Step 6
  • Add them to 2 8x8 pan's OR 1 9x13 inch pan that has a cup of the meat sauce at the bottom.
  • Step 7
  • Top with remaining meat sauce and your shredded cheese. Bake in a 350°F oven until hot and bubbily and cheese is melted.
  • Step 8
  • Serve with a garden salad and garlic bread.
  • Step 9
  • I first made a manicotti using Tinklees recipe. It was delish but I wanted to make it my own and cut the time down a bit bc I am always working. So I made mine semi-homemade! lol
