  • In a pan heat the butter and oil.
  • Step 2
  • Add the onions and salt and fry for 2-4 minutes until the onion has softened.

  • Add the bread in and fry for about 3-5 minutes on low heat or until it is golden brown. Turn a few times.
  • Step 11
  • Once done remove from pan and place on kitchen roll to absorb some of the fat.
  • Step 12
  • Serve immediately.
