  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten

    Step 1
  • Cut cheese into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Place three shallow bowls next to each other, filing the first with flour, the second with the egg and milk mixture, and the third with the bread crumbs.
  • Step 3
  • Roll each cheese cube in the flour, tapping off the excess.
  • Step 4
  • Then dip in egg mixture.
  • Step 5
  • Then roll in breadcrumbs and place on a plate.
  • Step 6

  • In a large skillet, heat 2 inches of oil to 350.

  • Step 10
  • Remove from oil using spoon after 1 minute or when cubes are a golden brown and place on paper towels to drain.
  • Step 11
  • Let oil return to 350 before making the next batch.
  • Step 12
  • Repeat steps 9 - 11 until all cheese cubes are fried.
