  • 1/4 kg Chicken cut into strips
  • 1 large eggs, beaten
  • Bread crumbs

  • 1 piece garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp onion, chopped
  • 2 oz teriyaki marinade
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in water
  • Marinade
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 5 tbsp teriyaki marinade
  • ground black pepper

How to Make Fried Chicken with Teriyaki Sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Fried Chicken with Teriyaki Sauce in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix all marinate ingredient with the chicken. Marinate for at least 1 hr in the refrigerator.
  • Step 2
  • Once ready to cook, beat the egg and dip the marinated chicken and coat with bread crumbs.
  • Step 3
  • Heat a skillet with cooking oil and deep fry chicken on low heat. Careful not to burn the coating.
  • Step 4
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken and drain the excess oil by placing on a kitchen towel paper.
  • Step 5
  • On another skillet, make the sauce. Stir fry onions, garlic and ginger.
  • Step 6
  • Add water and let it boil.
  • Step 7
  • Once boiled, pour in the teriyaki sauce and dissolved cornstarch. Mix well and let sauce thicken.
  • Step 8
  • Mix in the fried chicken into the sauce. Stir to perfectly coat the chicken with teriyaki sauce.
  • Step 9
  • Serve immediately. Serving suggestion: serve as topping for japanese rice.
