  • bunch fenugreek leaves , about 2 cups
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 2 each dry red chillies or green chillies
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp raw rice
  • 1 salt

How to Make Fried fenugreek leaves

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Fried fenugreek leaves in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Clean and soak leaves in water, then wash and finely cut them along with stalk.
  • Step 2
  • Grind coconut with turmeric and chilli powder and cumin seed, garlic and salt
  • Step 3
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry rice, red chillies and mustard seed.
  • Step 4
  • Add the leaves and coconut paste from step #2 and stir with 2 tsp water.
  • Step 5
  • Close the lid to let it cook on steam.
  • Step 6
  • Serve with rice or can be had as a salad.
