Ingredients: Fried Rice

  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbs Canola Oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 Cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 Cup carrot, diced
  • 1/2 celery, diced
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 green onions, whites chopped (reserve green tops for garnish)
  • 2 Cups cooked white rice
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce

How to Make Fried Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Fried Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Step 2
  • Add sesame oil and canola oil. Swirl to cover pan.
  • Step 3
  • Once the oil begins to smoke, add the eggs.
  • Step 4
  • Cook just until the egg coagulates and add onions, carrot, celery, garlic and ginger.
  • Step 5
  • Sauté 1-2 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • Add rice and sauté 1-2 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Remove from heat and add soy sauce.
  • Step 8
  • Stir to combine and plate as desired.
