  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • bread crumbs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Fried Squid in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat your oil to 360.
  • Step 2
  • Whip your egg and add in your buttermilk. (this is a good place to add salt)
  • Step 3
  • Dredge the squid through the egg and buttermilk and then through the bread crumbs. I usually do this twice with a final pass through flour.
  • Step 4
  • Fry until golden.
