  • 2/3 cup Cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp xanthum gum (if using regular flour instead of gluten-free, you don't need this ingredient)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup soy milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 3 tsp vanilla, divided
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

How to Make Fudge Topped Brownies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Fudge Topped Brownies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • In mixer bowls, beat butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, xanthum gum, eggs, milk, & 1 1/2 tsp vanilla. Spread in greased 13x9 pan.
  • Step 3
  • Bake 40 minutes or until set.
  • Step 4
  • Just before brownies are done, in saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk & remaining 1 1/2 tsp vanilla. Immediately spread over hot brownies.
  • Step 5
  • Cool. Chill. Cut into bars.
