  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup farina
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 10 eggs, separated
  • 1 tsp vanilla

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Galopita in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place milk, one cup of sugar and salt in saucepan and cook over low heat until milk is warmed
  • Step 2
  • Slowly add faring, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and thick
  • Step 3
  • Add butter and remove from heat to cool
  • Step 4
  • Beat egg folks with 1/4 cup sugar until light and creamy
  • Step 5
  • Beat egg whites until stiff
  • Step 6
  • Fold into egg till mixture
  • Step 7
  • Slowly fold egg mixture into cooled farina mixture
  • Step 8
  • Pour into 9 X 13 greased pan and bake at 350* for 30 min
  • Step 9
  • Cool and sprinkle with confectioners sugar and cinnamon
  • Step 10
  • Cut in squares and serve
