  • 12 clove Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 8 oz frozen artichoke hearts
  • 1 medium red sweet pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp quick cooking tapioca
  • 2 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 tsp finely shredded lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 4 cup hot cooked brown rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Garlic Chicken with Artichokes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a small skillet cook garlic and onion in hot oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes or until tender.
  • Step 2
  • In a 4 quart crockery cooker combine the garlic mixture, frozen artichoke hearts, sweet pepper, chicken broth, tapioca, rosemary, lemon peel, and black pepper.
  • Step 3
  • Add chicken; spoon some of the garlic mixture over chicken.
  • Step 4
  • Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 7 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 3.5 hours. Serve with rice.
