  • 400 g softened butter
  • 8 cloves peeled and crushed garlic
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 French baguettes

    Step 1
  • Mix 400 g softened butter, 8 peeled and crushed garlic cloves and 3 tbsp chopped parsley together in a bowl. Then season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
  • Take 2 French baguettes and slice into them at regular intervals along their lengths.
  • Step 3
  • Don't cut all the way through.
  • Step 4
  • Fill each pocket with 1 heaped tsp of garlic butter.
  • Step 5
  • If there is any left over, spread it over the top of the baguettes.
  • Step 6
  • Wrap each baguette in foil or saga cooking paper and place in the hot oven for 15-20 mins. Check thoroughly.
