  • 2 lb small red potatos
  • 4 tbsp my garlic butter, recipe attached in direction step #3, at room temperature.
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped herbs, I used chives, basil, thyme and parsley
  • COOKING OF TzHE POTATOS
  • 4 cup or more chicken broth, enough to cover potatos
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter, salted or unsalted

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Garlic Herb Small Red Potatos in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Scrub potatos clean and cut a strip of skin around potatos off. This allows the potatos to better absorb the broth and garlic butter.
  • Step 2
  • Combine chicken broth , cream, butter and potatos in a large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer until potatos are tender when pierced with a knife. This will take 15 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the potatos
  • Step 3
  • Drain potatos and toss with garlic butter and fresh herbs,. Serve hot. Garlic butter recipe attached below. Add more garlic butter if it needs it.
  • Step 4
  • These pototos can be made in advance and reheated just until hot in the mivrowave
