  • 400 grams white mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp creme fraiche

How to Make Garlic Mushrooms

    Step 1
  • Wipe mushrooms, then cut any larger ones into halves or even quarters.
  • Step 2
  • Crush garlic cloves (easy with a sprinkle of sea salt on top)
  • Step 3
  • Melt butter in a large saute pan.
  • Step 4
  • Add mushrooms and garlic and sizzle on a medium heat for 8- 10 mins, until turning brown but not yet yeilding all their mushroomy juices.
  • Step 5
  • Add the creme fraiche and season with a little more salt and some freshly ground black pepper.
  • Step 6
  • Warm through until the creme fraiche is bubbling hot.
  • Step 7
  • Serve either as a side/sauce or on buttered toast :)
