Ingredients: Garlic Shrimp

  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 5 fresh lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 lb uncooked large shrimp, shelled and deveined (if as a appetizer, leave shell on tip of tail for easy grip)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

How to Make Garlic Shrimp

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Garlic Shrimp in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a medium bowl, make the marinade by combining the mayonnaise, pepper, lemon juice and garlic; stir until well blended.
  • Step 2
  • Place shrimp in a large shallow glass dish. Pour marinade over shrimp, toss until evenly coated with arrange and cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
  • Step 3
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place a wire rack in a large shallow baking pan. Remove the shrimp from the marinade and place each one in a single layer on the rack, not touching. Add the melted butter to the reserved marinade and mix together well. With a spoon, dribble a little over each shrimp until all of it is used. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the shrimp is opaque. Serve immediately. 235 calories/serving; GL=0, Glycals=0
