  • Warning: The water will immediately turn to hot steam, so be careful not to get burned.

  • Cover the frying pan with a lid right away, and cook for 90 seconds-2 minutes, until you can no longer hear the steam sizzling. Turn off the heat and let it sit with the lid on for 2 minutes.
  • Step 11
  • Holding the edges of the parchment paper, take the gateau chocolat out of the frying pan and cool it on a plate. (The cooked cake will be about 2 cm high.)
