  • 100 grams Margarine
  • 30 grams Cake flour
  • 2 tbsp Hot chocolate mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 70 grams Granulated sugar

How to Make Gateau Chocolate Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Gateau Chocolate Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sift the powdered ingredients. Separate the egg whites and yolkes. Melt the chocolate by immersing in a hot water bath, then add margarine and mix.
  • Step 2
  • Put the egg yolks and granulated sugar in a bowl and mix until it becomes white.
  • Step 3
  • Add the melted chocolate and butter to the step 2 mixture and mix.
  • Step 4
  • Add the powdered ingredients and mix.
  • Step 5
  • Use a hand mixer to mix the egg whites until peaks form!
  • Step 6
  • Add the egg whites in 2 or 3 parts to the mixture from step 4. Use a spatula to mix, being careful not to smash the foam.
  • Step 7
  • Pout into the pan and cook at 170°C for 30 minutes.
