Ingredients: Gigi's Peanut Butter & Jelly Waffles

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 Jar of your favorite jelly
  • 1 bottle of Ihop Butter Pecan Syrup

How to Make Gigi's Peanut Butter & Jelly Waffles

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Gigi's Peanut Butter & Jelly Waffles in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large mixing bowl whisk together all dry ingredients.
  • Step 2
  • Separate the eggs, adding the yolks to the dry ingredient mixture and placing the whites in a small mixing bowl.
  • Step 3
  • Beat the whites until moderately stiff, set aside.
  • Step 4
  • Add milk, melted butter and peanut butter to the dry ingredient mixture and blend.
  • Step 5
  • Fold stiff eggwhites into the mixture.
  • Step 6
  • Ladle mixture into a hot waffle iron and cook for 2 minutes and 30 seconds or 3 minutes depending of how golden you want them.
  • Step 7
  • In a saucepan, take 4 spoonfuls of your favorite jelly (i used grape) and ihops butter pecan syrup. Mix together until blended and the jelly has the consistency of a sauce (melted).
  • Step 8
  • Assemble waffle as you desire, pour jelly syrup and enjoy. Could also decorate with a little bit of powder sugar sifted over waffles. Enjoy!
