  • 1 large young ginger
  • 5 cup water (or as needed)
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • Simple Version
  • 2 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

How to Make Ginger Tea

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Ginger Tea in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slap the ginger hard with the back of a knife.
  • Step 2
  • Put the ginger and water into a pot and boil on medium.
  • Step 3
  • When the water starts to boil, add in the sugar and stir until it dissolves. Leave to boil for another couple of minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Serve it hot :)
  • Step 5
  • For the simple version, add all ingredients into a cup and stir. Filter the mix into another cup (the ground ginger does not dissolve) and vóila.
