Ingredients: Gingerbread cookies

  • 125 grams unsalted butter slightly melted
  • 300 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 120 grams white sugar
  • 1 large eggs
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg

How to Make Gingerbread cookies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Gingerbread cookies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix the egg yolk, the sugar, the butter and the flour. Pre'heat the oven at 180C.
  • Step 2
  • When the mass looks crumbled add the cinnamon, the ginger and the nutmeg.
  • Step 3
  • Knead it adding the egg white (do NOT whisk them). Once done extended it (1cm of thickness) on a tray covered with vegetable paper and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Step 4
  • Take it out of the fridge and start making the shapes you wish. If you need to make a second badge, make repeat the 2nd half of process number 3.
  • Step 5
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
