  • 1 pack Gizzards
  • 1 tsp Sake
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 dash Salt and pepper
  • 1 Black pepper
  • 1 Garlic powder

How to Make Gizzard Jerky

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Gizzard Jerky in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice the gizzards in half and cut away any white parts.
  • Step 2
  • Slice the gizzards up as thinly as possible.
  • Step 3
  • Add the gizzards and the seasoning ingredients into a plastic bag and rub the ingredients in. Leave the gizzards to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  • Step 4
  • Line a cooking dish with parchment paper and arrange the marinated gizzards on top so that they don't overlap. Roast the gizzards at 150°C for 1 hour. Turn the gizzards over once during cooking.
  • Step 5
  • Check the flavour and top it up with salt and pepper if necessary. Then it's done (I usually add more salt and pepper at this step myself).
