  • 3/4 cup Boiling water
  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 medium Red onion
  • 1 large Goats cheese
  • 1 Cherry tomatoes

    Step 1
  • Making pastry: add shortening and boiling water together and mix until a smooth paste like texture.
  • Step 2
  • Add flour and salt and mix until it becomes a dough.
  • Step 3
  • Roll out small pieces of dough and layer into a muffin dish.
  • Step 4
  • Using a fork, pierce the bottom of each tart before partially cooking in oven at 200°C for 5-10 mins. You only want to partially cook the pastry.
