Prepare the ingredients before making goma tofu in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve goma tofu for your family or friends.

Ingredients: goma tofu

  • 100 sesame paste (neri goma)
  • 50 gr kudzu powder (arrowroot)
  • 400 cc dashi konbu
  • 2 1/2 tbsp beet sugar
  • a little salt
  • serve with soya and wasabi

How to Make goma tofu

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make goma tofu in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix all ingredients and cook with low fire, stir always 5 to10 minute depending on temperature. Mix until it becomes sticky, and in the last minute put some koikuchi soy sauce for flavor.
  • Step 2
  • After that leave in a case/tupperware and keep in the chiller for half day or over. Cut into square pieces (any size you like), serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
