  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 4 stalks celery, sliced

  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 pinch of basil
  • 1 pinch of thyme
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree'
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (28 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) can tomato juice

How to Make Goose Blind Chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Goose Blind Chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large pot, brown ground beef.
  • Step 2
  • Drain.
  • Step 3
  • In a separate pan, saute' vegetables in oil and seasonings.
  • Step 4
  • When vegetables are tender and onion is translucent, blend in with beef.

  • Add canned items and allow to simmer at least 1 hour.
