  • 50 grams turkey, diced
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 30 grams frozen peas
  • 1 pinch fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 packages ready made rice e.g uncle bens
  • 10 grams feta cheese

How to Make Greek style turkey rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Greek style turkey rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sprinkle the diced turkey with the oregano, salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
  • Fry off the turkey with a couple of teaspoons of oil in a saucepan for 5-10 minutes until cooked through. Keep aside on a low heat to keep it warm.
  • Step 3
  • Meanwhile bring some water to a boil, add the peas and cook until tender. Drain and mix with the fresh mint.
  • Step 4
  • Cook the rice according to the package.
  • Step 5
  • Mix together the turkey, peas and rice. Sprinkle on top the feta cheese and serve warm.
