  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk room temp
  • 2 large eggs room temp
  • 1 green food coloring

  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 MAKE YOUR CREAM CHEESE FROSTING TO PUT ON YOUR GREEN VELVET CAKE!
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1 Put all ingredents together. Mix until blended well.
  • 1 When cake is cool, Put frosting on cake.

How to Make Green Velvet Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Green Velvet Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 350°F
  • Step 2
  • In large bowl, mix butter and salt then beat with hand mixer at medium speed until creamy
  • Step 3
  • In a mixing add flour and baking soda. Stir well
  • Step 4
  • In small bowl add cocoa and coloring. Beat well.
  • Step 5
  • In the large bowl with butter add eggs one at a time.
  • Step 6
  • Then mix everything together. Mix well till creamy. Pour into cake pans. ( I used a bunt pan)
  • Step 7
  • Bake for 35 to 45 mins.
  • Step 8
  • Cool 10 mins. Turn over onto rack to cool. When cool frost.
  • Step 9
  • Creamcheese Frosting
