  • 1 lb Hamburger (80/20 mix)
  • 1 cup Fretolay corn chips.
  • 1/2 cup Salsa or picante sauce .
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder.
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt.
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano.
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder.
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper

How to Make Grilled Taco Burgers

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Grilled Taco Burgers in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place corn chips in a zip lock baggie and crush fine. (or you can use a food processor)
  • Step 2
  • Mix corn chips salsa and seasonings well. Then mix in the hamburger.
  • Step 3
  • When mixed, make 4 equal size patties . (can be made a day in advance) Put a deep dimple in the center of the burger patties.
  • Step 4
  • Set up your grill for Direct Heat. Grill 6 to 8 minutes per side, flip and cook another 5 or 6 minutes. Add a blended of cheese just before removing.
  • Step 5
  • Let burgers rest for a few minutes then cut in half.
  • Step 6
  • Heat flour tortilla shells briefly, add burger half add lettuce, tomato and sour cream.
  • Step 7
  • Serving suggestion - Taco Nacho Burger. Serve on a toasted bun with easy nacho cheese sauce, jalapenos and crushed corn chips.
