Ingredients: Guasacaca

  • 4 Whole large avocados
  • 1 Whole onion
  • 1 Whole bell pepper, you can mix yellow, red and green
  • 2 stick Green onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Whole tomatoes
  • 1 Handful of cilantro, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Oliver oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice

How to Make Guasacaca

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Guasacaca in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut 1/2 of one the avocados in small squares and mix it in a bowl with the onion, bell peppers, green onion, tomatoes, parsley, vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Step 2
  • Using an electrical blender or foot processor, purée the other avocados including half a cup of the previous mix and then add all the mix in the blender on to the remaining mix in the bowl
  • Step 3
  • Use the remaining 1/4 of the first avocado to cut in slices and decorate. You can include small squares of tomatoes for decoration and one or two leafs of parsley also.
