Ingredients: Hallibut Fish Congee

  • 2 cup cooked white rice
  • 2 slice hallibut fillet or any fish or meat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 dash white pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cup any clear stock
  • GARNISH OPTION
  • 1 cup spring onion or scallion
  • ADDITIONAL ADD ON
  • 10 red chinese dates
  • 2 tbsp dried GOJI berries

How to Make Hallibut Fish Congee

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Hallibut Fish Congee in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In pan add cooked white rice with stock and bring it to a boil
  • Step 2
  • Add fish fillet and simmer for 5 minute then add egg and break egg gently by string in circle ONLY TWICE (prevent congee from turning too cloudy)
  • Step 3
  • Off heat and Cover lid for 1 minute to let egg set
  • Step 4
  • If using Add additional add on like dried chinese red dates and dried goji berries with seasoning and bring it to a boil then simmer for another 5 minute uncover lid
  • Step 5
  • Top garnish and serve immediately
  • Step 6
