  • 6 English muffins broken into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cup fully cooked ham cubed. ( I get 3/4 lb Tavern ham from the deli cut thick)
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

How to Make Ham and Swiss Strata

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Ham and Swiss Strata in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a greased 11x7x2 in pan place 1/2 of the English muffin pieces.
  • Step 2
  • Sprinkle with half of the ham and half of the cheese. Repeat layer with remaining English muffins,ham and cheese.
  • Step 3
  • Mix beaten eggs with remaining ingredients and pour over ingredients in pan. Press down to make sure all ingredients are wet.
  • Step 4
  • Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  • Step 5
  • Bake at 350 uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
