    Step 1
  • Prepare the ingredients. Mince the chocolate so that it melts easily.
  • Step 2
  • Put the heavy cream in a pot and heat. Stop the heat just before it comes to a boil.
  • Step 3
  • Add the butter and melt.
  • Step 4
  • Heat on low again, and before it comes to a boil, remove from the heat and cool.
  • Step 5
  • Add the chocolate and melt. Once the chocolate has melted, add the Grand Marnier (you could use rum or your favorite type of liquor).
  • Step 6
  • Pour it into a pan lined with parchment paper, and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes to harden.
  • Step 7
  • Cut into your desired shapes with a warm knife, and coat with cocoa powder.
  • Step 8
  • This is Grand Marnier. It's an orange liquor. If you don't have it, you could use rum or other kinds of liquor for delicious truffles.
