  • Shrimp
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Sauce
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp basil
  • 2 chopped roma tomatoes
  • 1 cayenne pepper
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper

How to Make Happy Shrimp

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Happy Shrimp in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step 2
  • Stir in the shrimp, garlic, and green onions. Cook and stir until the shrimp are pink on the outside, and no longer translucent in the center, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Set the shrimp aside, and pour in the wine, cream, tomatoes, basil, and cayenne pepper.
  • Step 4
  • Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the sauce will coat the back of a spoon, about 10 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Stir the shrimp back into the sauce, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat through and serve.
