Ingredients: Hawaiian Meatloaf

  • Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Sweet Italian Sausage
  • 1 20oz can Crushed Pineapple (divided drained juices reserved)
  • 1 tbsp Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Red Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Bbq Sauce (Jack Daniels olde no 7 works great)
  • 3 slice Bacon (cut in half)
  • Glaze
  • 1 cup Bbq Sauce
  • 1 Crushed Pineapple
  • 2 tbsp Pineapple Juice

How to Make Hawaiian Meatloaf

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Hawaiian Meatloaf in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • Mix all meatloaf ingredients together except bacon but use only half of the can of drained pineapple saving the rest for the glaze.
  • Step 3
  • Form into loaf on greased 9x13 baking dish and layer with bacon.
  • Step 4
  • Put into oven and cook for 50 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • While meatloaf is cooking mix together glaze then refridgerate until ready to use.
  • Step 6
  • after 50 minutes take out of oven and drain off fat and grease.
  • Step 7
  • Pour glaze over meatloaf and spread covering top and sides.
  • Step 8
  • Cook for an additional 20 minutes. take out and let cool at least 5 minutes.
