  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces

  • 3 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 1 lb cooked smoke sausage
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 2 cup pineapple chunks

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Hawaiian smoked sausage in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Saute veggies over medium heat in oil, add sausage and cook until sausage is heated through and veggies are soft.
  • Step 2
  • Combine cornstarch, ginger, vinegar, soy sauce, and preserves; stir into sausage mixture. Stir until mixture becomes thick and bubbly.
  • Step 3
  • Add two cups of pineapple chunks. Heat through, and serve over rice.
