  • 2 Medium Bananas
  • 130 g Peanut Butter
  • 70 g Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 165 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 40 g Chocolate Chips/Raisins (Optional)

How to Make Healthy Banana and Peanut Butter Cookies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 12 steps you must follow to make Healthy Banana and Peanut Butter Cookies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a small bowl start mashing the bananas using a fork or a potato masher.
  • Step 2
  • In a medium bowl stir the banana with the peanut butter and mix very well until blended.
  • Step 3
  • Add in the sugar and vanilla extract and mix.
  • Step 4
  • In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and cinnamon
  • Step 5
  • Sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix very well until it forms a very soft dough.

  • Leave to chill in the fridge for about 1 hour or 15-20 mins in the freezer (if you are in a hurry)
  • Step 7
  • Preheat the oven to 180 C degrees
  • Step 8
  • Start forming the dough into a size of a gold ball. Or you could roll out the dough and cut it using different shapes and sizes.
  • Step 9
  • Prepare a baking tray by either greasing it with butter or lining it with baking paper.
  • Step 10
  • Place the cookies into the tray and bake for about 10-12 mins
  • Step 11
  • When done, leave in the tray to cool completely and ready to eat.
  • Step 12
  • Serve and Enjoy with the Family!!! :)
