  • 1 1/2 cup Rice
  • 3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil

How to Make Healthy Herb Yellow Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Healthy Herb Yellow Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook rice (I use a rice cooker), dump into large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Plop in room temp butter. I listed a half stick, but you can do to taste. Drizzle in Olive oil. Stir until butter is melted.
  • Step 3
  • Add in turmeric, salt, oregano, parsley and pepper. Stir well. Until rice develops bright yellow hue.
  • Step 4
  • Caution: Turmeric WILL STAIN your hands and countertops bright yellow! Be careful. Portion out and enjoy!
