  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to Make Healthy Sweet Potatoes with Apples

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Healthy Sweet Potatoes with Apples in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F for baking.
  • Step 2
  • Dice up the sweet potato into a pile of 1" wedges and throw into a medium bowl. For easy cooking, they shouldn't be more than 1/2" thick.
  • Step 3
  • Peel, core, and dice up the two apples into small 1/2" cubes. Throw into the same bowl with sweet potatoes.
  • Step 4
  • Finely chop the rosemary and thyme together, then finely chop the fresh ginger. Throw all the fresh and dry spices into the same bowl with the main ingredients.
  • Step 5
  • Pour extra virgin olive oil into the bowl and thoroughly mix everything together. Optionally you can throw everything into a large tupperware, cover, and shake well to mix the ingredients.
  • Step 6
  • Spread ingredients onto a large flat pan and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until soft.
  • Step 7
  • When done, center on pan, then scoop onto plate, and serve with protein of your choice.
