  • 6 Potatoes
  • 1 pinch Thyme
  • 1 pinch Rosemary
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt

How to Make Herb Roasted Potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Herb Roasted Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Firstly, peel and cut your potatoes into bit sized chunks. Get your oven pre-heating to 220C
  • Step 2
  • Then parboil them in lightly salted water for about 10 minutes. Don't over boil them. We want them firm still.
  • Step 3
  • Liberally coat your baking tray with olive oil and butter, then place the tray in the oven for 60 seconds or so, just to melt the butter.
  • Step 4
  • Next, evenly spread the potatoes on the tray. Roll each one individually and make sure it's well coated with the olive oil and butter.
  • Step 5
  • Then sprinkle some thyme and rosemary over the potatoes and place the tray in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • Pull out the tray and rotate each piece, then put back in the oven for another 20 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Remove when they look golden and crispy, and serve.
