  • 2 tsp fresh thyme, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh rosemary, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh sage, minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 slice hearty white sandwich bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (about 4 cups)

How to Make Herbed Croutons

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Herbed Croutons in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • Whisk garlic, salt, oil, thyme, rosemary, pepper and sage together in a large bowl.
  • Step 3
  • Add bread cubes and toss until coated.
  • Step 4
  • Spread bread on baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Cool before serving.

  • *You can also substitute 1/2 teaspoon of each dried herb if you don't have fresh thyme, rosemary, and sage.*
