  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Main Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb beef stew cubes cut into smaller bites
  • 1 1/2 lb semi frozen cube steak diced into bite size pieces
  • 4 large potatoes, cubed
  • 1 bag of steam fresh carrots, crinkle cut
  • 1 bag Italian vegetables
  • 1 can butter beans, do not drain
  • 1 Half large onion, diced

How to Make Hodgepodge Beef Stew

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Hodgepodge Beef Stew in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add all ingredients listed for the broth to crockpot except cornstarch. Stir thoroughly.
  • Step 2
  • In a measuring cup, mix cornstarch & a small amount of broth liquid until a soupy paste. Add to crockpot.

  • Add all main ingredients to crockpot listed. Stir to mix.
  • Step 4
  • Cover and cook on high for 6 hours.
