  • 170 gr. rolled oats
  • 170 gr. brown rice flakes (or spelt flakes, rye etc.)
  • 200 gr. nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cashew etc.)
  • 100 gr. pumpkin and sesame seeds (or sunflower, linseed, flax...)
  • 100 gr. dried fruit cranberries ( or apricots, dates, raisins, goji etc.)
  • 120 ml. runny honey
  • 40 ml sunflower oil

How to Make Home-made granola (toasted muesli)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Home-made granola (toasted muesli) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Chop the nuts
  • Step 2
  • Put all the dry ingredients into a large bowl
  • Step 3
  • Heat the oil and honey over a low heat, and when they are nicely blended, pour over the dry granola ingredients. Stir while heating and don't allow to get hot enough to bubble
  • Step 4
  • Mix very well with a spoon or with your hands
  • Step 5
  • Lightly grease your oven tray and fill with the granola. Smooth over with your hands so there are no gaps
  • Step 6
  • Put in the oven for 35 minutes at 150ยบ. Each ten minutes, carefully take the tray out and stir around a bit.
  • Step 7
  • After half an hour it should be ready to take out of the oven and left for 10 minutes or so in the tray to cool
  • Step 8
  • Put the granola into a bowl, add the dried fruit of your choice and stir well
  • Step 9
  • Store in an airtight jar and enjoy :-)
