  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 bay leaf
  • oregano
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper flakes

How to Make Homemade chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Homemade chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat Olive oil and start Browning hamburger in separate pan
  • Step 2
  • I use a mini chopper but you can chop up the vegetables and start Browning them in olive oil. Add white wine and continue to brown Drain hamburger.
  • Step 3
  • Add tomato sauce, paste and I always fill cans with water and add to it to stretch it in pan with vegetables then add in hamburger
  • Step 4
  • This is your choice to add in whatever spices to taste. Add in your can of kidney beans and beef broth
  • Step 5
  • Simmer for about an hour and enjoy
