  • 16 oz Elbow noodles
  • 6 cup Shredded cheese (i used sharp)
  • 3 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose floor
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 3/4 tsp Ground mustard
  • 4 dash Hot pepper sauce (i used Red Rooster, Louisiana hot sauce)

How to Make Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Homemade Macaroni and Cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook macaroni in boiling water until almost tender; drain.
  • Step 2
  • Pre heat over at 350°
  • Step 3
  • Melt butter. Stir in the flour, salt, mustard, pepper, pepper sauce and milk until smooth. 
  • Step 4
  • Stir in the macaroni and 4 1/2 cups cheese.
  • Step 5
  • Transfer to an ungreased 13-in x 9-in baking dish. Cover and bake for 45-50 minutes or until bubbly.
  • Step 6
  • Uncover; sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
