Ingredients: Homemade Soymilk

  • 500 grams soybeans
  • 1 1/2 liter water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 as needed sugar to add in individual glass
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • other tools
  • 1 sieve
  • 1 cheesecloth
  • 1 boiling pot
  • 1 pandan 1eaves,optional

How to Make Homemade Soymilk

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Homemade Soymilk in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wash and clean soybeans,selected bad seeds out,then soak in water at least 5 hours,but for rush hour can soak in hot water for about 2 hours is ok
  • Step 2
  • Blend beans with water 1:3 from any cup you use ,repeat until all finish
  • Step 3
  • Strain blended beans with sieve or cheesecloth into boiling pot
  • Step 4
  • In boiling pot add some panda leaves if you have ,to make soymilk more aroma ,if dont have just leave it.
  • Step 5
  • Bring pot to simmer on low heat,stir frequently to protect from bottom burning,add salt and sugar ,take out bubbles on surface ,simmer about 30 mins ,its done
  • Step 6
  • Serve warm with some caramel sugar in individual glass
  • Step 7
  • Or refrigerate to drink in a couple day,or make some egg tofu ..
